Peritec, a SELECT NI Alliance member in Japan, designed, integrated, and built a Mixed Signal Multi IC Tester/DC Parametric Tester/Power IC Tester/Liner IC Tester using VPC's SL4 Mass InterConnect Solution. Peritec's IC tester, ECOIC (Ecology IC) Tester Series, is cost effective, universal, reliable, portable, and easy to operate. This tester is intended for the semiconductor market, for testing electrical devices such as Component IC Units (i.e. mobile phones, video games, and automotive electrical control units (ECUs) for engine, audio, lock-key, airbag, and navigation systems, etc). The unit is integrated with National Instruments (NI) PXI cards and uses NI LabView software and provides a highly reliable DUT/UUT Interface panel with 384 signals76 RG178 coaxial connectors.

VPC's Mass InterConnect SL4 solution enables quick and easy engaging and disengaging of the ITA/fixture; it is attached to the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)/IC holders (such as ASIC-Built-out-Self-Tester), on top of the tester. The solution allows testing of various types of PCBs/IC holders or both the ECU in box and its PCBs. With the robust SL4, the user can easily connect to a variety of DUTs/UUTs while using only one test unit. VPC's Mass InterConnect interface is compatible with all PXI, VXI, and LXI platforms.
