i2 MX, VPC's handheld ITA offers a configurable connector in a slim 0.8" footprint and provides EMI protection features to support high-speed applications. With multiple I/O options to choose from, i2 MX allows you to engineer the ideal connector to meet your test application needs.

i2 MX XL Extra Capabilities

VPC's i2 MX XL connector features all of the same benefits as the i2 MX with capabilities for larger wire bundles.

  • XL-sided backshells offer larger cable exits & increased bend radius
  • Accommodates larger wire bundles, including high-speed and twisted pair
  • Mating face remains compatible with standard receivers
  • Easily reversable all metal EMI shielding backshell allows for multiple mounting configurations

i2 MX Flying Leads

Flying leads ITA cable assemblies enable pin-your-own configuration flexibility. 

  • Hybrid assembly allows combination of signal, coax, power, high speed, thermocouple, fiber optic, and pneumatic transmission types
  • i2 MX flying leads offer up to 22 slots for SIM inserts and a maximum of 176 high speed contact positions

i2 MX PCB Compatibility

The i2 MX offers PCB mounting in several options. VPC VTAC vertical headers allow for i2 MX modules to be PCB mounted on or inside an enclosure directly serving as a pass-thru module or secondary test connection preserving PCB connections similarly to our Infinity Connector. Right angle VTAC inserts provide a high-speed data connection between the i2 MX and PCB offering 10+ Gbps per differential pair.

  • 60 or 84 pin male headers offer solderless compliant pins for easy PCB implementation with the use of twin female QuadraPaddle contacts
