i2 Micro iCon

The i2 Micro iCon is VPC's slim-line, low I/O connector with capabilities for discrete-wiring, horizontal and right-angle PCB mounting. Because of its 0.8" profile, high-density with PCB connection capability and tested reliability, the i2 connector allows manufactures to create custom, configurable test systems with off-the-shelf components and standard test interfaces.

i2 Micro iCon XL Extra Capabilities

VPC's i2 Micro XL connector features all of the same benefits as the i2 Micro iCon with capabilities for larger wire bundles.

  • XL-sized backshells offer larger cable exits & increased bend radius
  • Accommodates larger wire bundles, including twisted pair
  • Mating face remains compatible with standard receivers
  • Slide-off backshells allow easy access to wiring for maintenance and probing

i2 Micro iCon Flying Leads

Flying leads ITA cable assemblies enable pin-your-own configuration flexibility.

  • Hybrid assembly allows combination of signal, coax, power, high speed, thermocouple, fiber optic, and pneumatic transmission types
  • i2 Micro iCon flying leads offer up to 168 QuadraPaddle signal points

i2 Micro iCon PCB Compatibility

The i2 Micro iCon offers horizontal mounting with the use of stake pins and right-angle wire to board connections with VPC headers. Using twin female QuadraPaddle contacts the i2 Micro iCon receiver can be connected directly to male headers on PCB.

  • 60 or 84 pin male headers offer solderless compliant pins for easy PCB implementation
  • Innovative header easily adapts i2 for quick termination to connectors such as VHDCI and 68 pin SCSI
  • Mounting bracket available to secure PCB to i2 Micro receiver
