iCon XL Extra Capabilities

VPC's iCon XL connector features all of the same benefits as the iCon with capabilities for high-speed and high-power applications.

• XL-sized backshells offer larger cable exits & increased bend radius
• Accommodates larger wire bundles, including high-speed and twisted pair
• Mating face remains compatible with standard receivers
• Slide-off backshells allow easy access to wiring for maintenance and probing

iCon

The iCon is VPC's leading rack and pin test connector. The two-module flexible ITA is easily reconfigurable, allowing for the use of COTS cables and quick test set-up. The iCon allows manufacturers to create custom, configurable test systems with off-the-shelf components and standard test interfaces. 

iCon EMI Protection

VPC's iCon EMI connector features all of the same benefits as the iCon, but with Electro-Magnetic Interference Protection.

• "Mate First, Break Last" feature connects the earth ground circuit
• Earth ground terminal prevents user shock and injury while maintaining signal integrity
• Accepts threaded metal coupling adapter of ITA allowing for max cable bundle of 1.50 sq. in.
• Fully wired connectors are available as cable assemblies or flying leads

iCon Flying Leads

Flying leads ITA cable assemblies enable pin-your-own configuration flexibility.

• Hybrid assembly allows combination of signal, coax, power, high speed, thermocouple, fiber optic, or pneumatic transmission types
• iCon flying leads offer up to 320 QuadraPaddle signal points

iCon PCB Compatibility

The iCon receiver offers wire to board connections in multiple configurations. Using twin female QuadraPaddle contacts the iCon receiver can be connected directly to male headers on a PCB. VPC's adapter pins can also be used to connect directly to female headers or ribbon cable connectors.

• VTAC iCon module is compatible with VTAC Vertical Headers offering 12.5+ Gbps high speed PCB connections  
• Small width and inboard handle increase side-to-side stackability
• Slide-off cover allows access to probe points while engaged
